Zweiundzwanzig - Action/Phone

[Since his dismissal from the library, Wilhelm had thought he'd have enough time to start and truly gain more ground in discovering the secrets of the town. As it stood, however, what he had assumed would give him a head start in the race hadn't evolved past the slow walk he had apparently always been going. He almost wish he had a job back, in that it would at least give him something to do rather then apparently fruitlessly try and search for answers.

Especially when he felt he finally knew one of the answers, but that it was one he should've stumbled on a long time ago.

Regardless, with nothing to do he had grown bored, and decided that he would venture outside to see if he could find something to keep him interested. To survey the current domain he inhabited, as it were. After all, portions of his authority had been returned to him.]

Got two choices on how most of you can interact with Wilhelm today Mayfield

A. Hope you Like Telepathy

[Wilhelm can be found around several places in town today. In the park, at a restaurant or outside some of the business, or occasionally browsing through the library. Really, he just seems to be an unassuming gentleman going about his day.

But eventually, you'll hear a voice. And it doesn't seem to be a spoken one. Rather, it's like a feeling, something being broadcast within you.]

After my months of imprisonment here along with you, I've come to a train of thought I'm sure that many of the rest of you have had as well. To me, while not the only answer it seems to be the most logical one for a variety of reasons I'll spare listing at the moment. But, what I have to say, I suppose, is a riddle of sorts. And I'd like to know your responses.

What would be your reaction if you were to find that the face you were born with was not solely your own?

[Hey Theta, guess who's heard you've been reset and is currently knocking on your door.]

[[Theta still has all her stuff--limp and cane included. She's also made use of the town tailors, so she's rocking an as-steampunk-as-Mayfield-can-pull-off look with a brown corset and tweed pants that puff at the knees. Without boots and her hat, though, it doesn't look great. Nonetheless, at the door she's stiff and formal, and nods politely.]]

[Just relaxing under a tree when she hears his voice. Cue sitting up straight and surprised blinking, before looking around.

She doesn't answer, but her reaction shows that she definitely heard him.]

[ John happens to be walking back from school, and looks around very confused. ]

Yeah I can...but who is there?

[...now what was this? Okuu was quite used to such things, having a mindreader for a master...but this didn't feel like Satori.

It wasn't like the yatagarasu either; grumbling, growling half-thoughts rumbling at the back of her mind, like molten earth--unpleasantly hot and disturbingly loud.

This was different. Very different.

It was enough to interrupt her agitated overflights of town to investigate; circling and cawing and calling where she "heard" the sound last.]

[Looking around, confused.]

[Oh Ken hears you alright. However, he instantly assumes that it's Schuldig and you can probably get the feeling of a mental angry key-smash in response.

What. You startled him.]

[A voice in her head? Get in line there's quite a few in there already. Tiffany however continues reading her book as she replies in her head.]

-Quite well actually. Now who would you happen to be?-

[Garviel is probably the gentleman serving Wilhelm in said restaurant. And then wilhelm uses blatant psychic abilities on him. And his expression turns very, very grim.]

"I can hear you." [his voice is cold, and his hands flex on the plate of food he was carrying.]

[So while Ven doesn't know it yet, finding other people who look exactly like him is pretty commonplace!!!

He waits until Wilhelm's done with the phone before piping up:]

When you say "not solely your own" do you mean...like twins or something?

[Because he'll more wait till you get off the phone. And be glad he's home for once, and not hiding? Maybe?]

Have you been thinking again?

[This is said with a small sound that should tell Wilhelm chaos is well-aware the other man is thinking at all times.]

"My reaction would be acceptance. But then, I already share my face with another entity so little would change."

[Schuldig pauses mid-stride...though, after a moment, he smirks to himself. His telepathic response, however, is almost instantaneous.] Of course.
