I will admit that it has been a long time since I bothered to set foot in an actual church, let alone needed to. I suppose I only did so today out of curiosity to see what something as willless as the drones would preach on. I was unsurprised to see the focus was on the book of the law, where God is proclaimed to be jealous in one verse and then loving a few verses later.

Tell me. What is your opinion on God? Not merely if you believe in him, but do you consider his existence something to care about? And if I were to give evidence to you that it did, indeed, exist, would that change your opinion at all?

They've been outmatched in efficiency, speed, strength, intelligence; anything you could think of. To put it in layman's terms, anything they can do we can do better. That's more than enough.

You'd be surprised how many species believe they're at the top of the chain only to be wiped out.

Yes, yes, I'm certain I'll live to regret my words.

Ah, you're right. I wouldn't regret them either way.

Regret has always been a pointless feeling.

Charles, and it would take far too long to name them all. They certainly outweigh any noble emotion. Certainly you who seems so knowledgeable on the subject would know this.

I suppose so, and yet once in awhile one might find nobility in pettiness.

[there's just a snort of disagreement in response; no point in arguing, though. it would grow circular very quickly.]

And you are?
